What's your favorite kind of homemade cookie? Share the recipe if you have it.

My favorite homemade cookie is my grandmother's soft gingerbread cookie. I could post the recipe, but then I'd have to kill you... or you'd have to "pay" me in 1 doz. cookies every time you made them! :-D

For a full sit-down dinner with several guests, would you rather be the one cooking or do you prefer to just show up and eat?

In our family, one person doesn't do all the cooking. It is a great group effort - and one I wouldn't change! My dad is taking care of the bird(s), my sister is baking dessert, I'm bringing the veggie courses (mashed taters, green beans, and creamed onions), and my dad's girlfriend is making yams and a killer salad. Quelle spread!
