Help kids by eating crabs or going on vacation!

Hi there neighbors - it's Crab Feed time!!

We, the women of the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento # 1032, are hosting our 15th annual Crab Feed on February 23, 2007!  This year's Crab Feed is at the Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation Facility off of Laguna Blvd in Elk Grove, CA. 

Can't go? Don't want to go?  No matter where in the US you are, you can still buy Special Raffle tickets! Each $10 ticket is a chance to win a vacation to Puerta Vallarta, including round-trip airfare for two and 4 nights at the Barceló La Jolla de Mismaloya 5-star resort!  (need not be present to win)  Just send me a PM.

For any folks in the greater Sacramento, CA area, the event starts at 5pm and dinner will be served at 6pm.  Tickets are $45 in advance and $60 at the door (if available) and include an all-inclusive crab dinner (with rolls, salad, pasta, and clam chowder, too), beer, wine, and soda.  There will also be a Silent Auction, Raffle, Special Raffle drawing for a trip to Puerto Vallarta, DJ, and dancing!  This is one of Sacramento's signature crab feeds and it's an event that you won't want to miss.

This year the proceeds will benefit three local children's charities:

• Disabled Sports USA Far West  (www.dsusafw.org)
• Providing special equipment to children and adults for sporting events.
• Tubman House/ Waking the Village  (www.wakingthevillage.org)
• Helping teenage mothers transition to become head of the household.
• Firefighters Burn Institute  (www.ffburn.com)
• Providing a summer camp for children with burn injuries.

Come to this all-inclusive event as a group or just bring yourself and be ready meet new friends.  Tables of 8 are available, which means you can enjoy an evening with seven of your favorite friends, family, playgroup members, softball teammates, golf buddies, fellow church members, employees, or choice of strangers!
